Sony has trademarked PS Cloud.. What are your thoughts on this move by Sony? Could they be attempting to compete with OnLive Directly?

I think that the PS Cloud is more of a way to protect the PlayStation brand when new and improved technology releases.
It is not necessarily in development yet, it is merely an idea on paper.
I think everyone in the game business is currently on standby with their hair standing up on their neck, all in silence waiting to see if OnLive is a serious threat to them, or merely a chubby kid down the block with all talk and no bite.
They are going to trademark anything they can to try and say "Oh look here, I've got one too! You're invention isn't so cool."
Sony is the only one scared right now, Microsoft is alert, Nintendo is laughing on a pile of money screaming "Who cares! I'm set for life!"
